Inspired by centuries of maritime heritage and seamanship from the Ula pilot station, just outside Sandefjord, Ula Ship Management was founded in 2022 as a joint venture between Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (Deutschland) and Amon Maritime. Combining the quality and strength of the integrated maritime solutions provider BSM, with the entrepreneurial spirit, ammonia fuel leadership and Norwegian position of Amon, laid a strong foundation for a new, Norwegian ship management company, based in Sandefjord.
The company offers ship management services for the Norwegian market, specialising in technical and crew management solutions for various types of complex vessels, with a special focus and expertise for ammonia-powered ships. The company will also offer commercial management through the affiliated Ula Chartering, to form a one-stop shop for third party ship management.
